Default Unlocking the Behold II without a non T-mo SIM

Greetings,

Is there a way that anyone knows of unlocking the BH2 without having to use a non T-mo SIM? I found one on the web, but it didn't work because there was no place to enter in numbers as it described (it was a process requiring no sim and number entry). Please let me know if you know a workaround. Thanks!

Usually when you enter numbers it's in the dailer.

Yes, tried that- didn't seem to work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? The unlock keypad is a different one. When you insert a non T-mo SIM, it pops up. Would you happen to know how to get it to pop without using a off-carrier SIM?

I'll try to look for my Softbank Sim and try to see what you're talking about

Ok I poped my Softbank Sim in and see what you are talking about.

I remember when I unlocked my wife's G1 I thought I just used the Dailer.
I guess you have to use a Non t-Mo Sim. Maybe you can borrow a friend's At&t sim?

Did you call T-mobile and get the unlock code?

They would not give it to me.

No, I'm trying to stay off the grid The seller I got it from is trying to obtain the code for me. You should try back every few days until you get someone who can give you the code. You're suppose to be able to get one every 90 days.

This is what they sent me when I tried to unlock my wife's comeback. And I have unlocked several phones in the last year.

Now T-mobile gave me the unlock code.
I put in a European SIM card, I got this "Pin Block" message as a pop-up screen. The pop-up does not go away no matter what keys I press. The only thing I could do was to press on either buttons within the screen.

"Emergency Call" brings me to a keypad that is not the usual dialer (as shown)
"SOS" brings me to another pop-up screen that says "Emergency Call" with a button: "call".

I tried using the emergency keypad to enter my unlock code but it was trying to use it as a phone number, and a message tells me this phone number is not valid.
So where do I enter the unlock code?

5. If worked, phone should say “Network Lock Deactivated”
6. Your Samsung phone may automatically reboot.
So do I use the dial pad to enter step #2 and 3?
Do I press "dial" after step #2? (But it gives me an error message of "not registered to the network"

Yes use the dialer and I don't think you should need to hit send the pop up should appear after you enter the last symbol. This is just a guess though as I have not unlocked it

So I typed in #7465625*638*. Nothing happens.
Continued to type my unlock code. Nothing happens.
Added the #.
Now I have this string of #7465625*638*XXXXXXXX#
Not doing anything.
If I pressed dial, it says "not registered to the network".

Just FYI to all... I have been trying to unlock my wife's BHII with the #7465625*638*<unlock code from TMO> with her TMO sim.. It doesn't work with firmware version T939VJA3 at least. I used my Centennial Wireless sim in her phone and entered the unlock code from TMO and we now have an unlocked BHII.
