Default 5.8.894 to .901 questions

Hey friends. Here's what I got, running Kin3tx v1.0 rom, and dealing with the pesky data drops. From everything I have read, the. 901 radio all but eliminates this issue. I am currently on the 5.8.894 update. When I did this update, I had to do the complete revert to stock etc. What is the simplest way to get from where I am to the. 901 radii. Seems most people are not coming from this version and I haven't been able to find a "how-to" guide out there yet. Even a link would be awesome. Thanks for the help!

The only way to get the .901 radio is to get back on the upgrade path which means reverting back to stock .886 or .893 (unless for some miracle moto unlocks the bootloader)

I reverted back to .886 via this: [GUIDE] How To Receive OTAs Again If You Are On A Leak

There's also the .893 FXZ files: [Fastboot Files] 5.5.893 FXZ Leaked

That came out after I got on the upgrade path so I have no clue about it. GL to you!

I would flash the 5.5.893 fxz file here. http://androidforums.com/bionic-all-things-root/480176-how-flash-5-5-893-rsdlite.html Thjis puts you back to stock.
Then use tehsusenoh modified releashed and forever root file here. R3l3AS3DRoot_Windows_V2.1 - modded zergRush - Minus.com Option 2

Then boot into stock recovery by holding both volume up and down and the power button with the phone off. Use volume down to scroll through the menu and select recovery by pushing volume up. Flash the .901 file here. .901 download

Thats it. There is also this thread to help you out more. All the info and links youll need to successfully get to .901 rooted and have a Custom Rom!!

Yah, once you leave 886 there really is no way to go back to it b/c the bootloader gets updated and will not allow the original kernel from .886 to boot the phone.

The 893 FXZ is saving a lot of people the headaches we first encountered b/c you can flash that from any build except 901 and boot right up. If you're on 901, a simple additional step is required.
