Default I want stock back! Please Help

I just traded my Samsung Strat for a Droid Bionic(lucky me), and it's rooted. Works great, except that everything in the notification bar is cut off a little. Anyways, I want to be stock so I can recieve OTA updates when they roll out. Also, Im not quite rady to be rooted yet. I have a mac computer and would love any UNrooting help I could get. thanks!

Good that makes it easy. If you don't mind your phone starting over like it came out of the box. Follow the directions here how to flash 5.5.893 with rsdlite

don't follow the added steps at the end for .901, you don't need it.

What is going to happen is the program rsdlite will wipe all the information off of the phone and then reinstall the software. This would be like reinstalling windows on your computer (same hardware all new software). You will have to reenter all your login information but you won't be rooted anymore.

I am also recommending this way because the phone was not yours from the start and you don't know what was done to it while rooted.

Yep, you'll be on the official stock OTA.

And yes, you need the drivers. Make sure you get the 32 or 64 bit based on your system.
