Default [ICS AOSP ROM] "AOKP" (Android Open KANG Project) for BIONIC [2/19/2012]

ICS AOSP ROM

Quote:
Android is all about choices. And here's another choice for AOSP ROM:

"AOKP" (Android Open KANG Project) is a built from source ROM similar to CyanogenMod (but different). I didn't create AOKP, I only ported it to the Droid 3.

You can visit the AOKP website here:
AOKP | News

Their developers include: Roman, Zaphod-Beeblebrox, Whitehawkx, and more.
The future of AOKP is quite bright as new features are popping up all the time.

This port is based off mine and Hashcode's ICS work for CM9 and it has ALL of the same issues (and possibly some which weren't addressed in the port).
quoted from dhacker

I know it say's for the droid 3 but it is also for the bionic.

Indeed. We are at 3 ICS ROMs so far. Although technically, they all are made or ported by the same three people: dhacker, droidth3ory and hashcode.

Nevertheless, it's great.

And about the ROM, I highly recommend everyone go ahead and put a different boot animation, unless you like pink sparkly unicorns every time your phone boots up. To each, his own.
