Question No SuperUser after Root

Hi. This is my first android phone & my first time trying to root, so please bear with me.

I followed all the instructions here:
How to Root Droid Bionic! [NEW][5.5.893] | Droid Bionic Root

The program ran successfully, and I now see the Bionic Bootstrap app installed. However, I didn't see any SuperUser app. So I manually searched for it in Play & installed it. When I ran it, I don't see any request popping up for SuperUser access. I tried installing & running SU Update Fixer as well, but it didn't detect any problems.

How can I tell whether my phone is currently rooted or not? Why am I not getting SuperUser access? What should I do next? Please help!

look in PLAY for an app called Rootcheck, it has a icon like a # symbol. It will tell you if you are rooted or not.

You are going to want Titanium Backup (I recommend Titanium Backup Pro) anyway. Try installing it. If Superuser is running properly you will get a request for SU access.
