Default Update fails, stuck at 5.5.886, rooted

When I touch the "System Updates" under my phone, I get a very quick flash where nothing happens. Instead it just stays on the "about phone" screen.

I have a droid bionic that I rooted when I first got it back in September 2011. I don't think I ever received a system upgrade since then, so it is possible that I screwed something up when I rooted it.

I've been searching on the internet on what could cause this but had no luck; does anyone here maybe have some suggestions?

Here is some more (hopefully useful) info from the "About Phone" screen:
System Version: 5.5.886.XT875.Verizon.en.US
Android Version: 2.3.4
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-g790a33c
Build Number: 5.5.1_84_DBN-55

Thank you for any help in advance!!

I have moved this thread to the Bionic "all things root" section of the forum, where the rooters can read it, and possibly recognize the problem.
Thanks,

You have 2 options. If you froze any bloat ware or system updater, unfreeze everything. If you deleted stuff you are screwed in the sense that you will have to start fresh and flash the fxz 5.9.902 file using rsdlite. The last will wipe your data.
