Cool Jelly Bean ROM for Bionic

Found an Alpha Jelly Ben ROM for the Droid Bionic.. Makes you wonder, why the hell is Motorola taking so much time to release the Droid Bionic Ice Cream Sandwich update.. Sad that the company that builds the phone is falling far back when considered with people from the outside..

Jelly Bean for DROID Bionic - CM 10 (Alpha)

I guess it takes Motorola time just like it takes custom ROM developers. Look at that JB rom, no camera, data doesn't work yet, etc. Motorola has to work through issues just like that. Down to the very tiny issues since they are expecting to have a flawless official release. Every app and every feature of the phone has to work. When they released ICS for the RAZR apparently there were still a lot of bugs and everyone got upset, so now they've learned to keep things in the testing phase for a long time to make sure everything is working.

Also in terms of ICS, don't be so quick to get mad at Motorola because many times the rumor is that Verizon actually gets in the way of letting their customers have updates as soon as possible. If Verizon can sell you a phone that comes with 4.1, or send you a free over the air update to get your old phone running 4.1, what makes more business sense to them? They drag their feet approving system updates so people will get frustrated and buy new devices.

Yep, I'd love me some JB but I need a phone that works!
Usually anything Alpha isn't a good thing to install

Especially a phone you NEED to work! I play with the tablet alphas, b/c I don't rely on them for anything but tinkering and fun.

Yeah, these are rehosts of the STS builds.

Data doesn't work, nor does camera. There are a few instabilities that are being worked out. If you want newer updates, you have to build the ROM from source yourself, or ask someone with the processing power to do it for you.
