Wanna thank the users running 0.7 this week. With your help, i found some odds and ends to fix up and as a result, the community can enjoy the latest build today.
Uploading 0.8 later today
-changes-
Fixed odds and ends
Video lag fix?
Hardware fix?
Infrastructure tethering?
Build.prop fix
Mms update (il need feedback on this app, if it doesnt work to your needs, download go sms for now.
Finalized Android settings
Scripts available to the user can be found in the changelog
The next build will probably be final. Il be working on the Bionx scripts and themes.
In the notification bar, what is the "G" with the circle. There is another one for 3g so that's not it. Or?
The G is just your signal strength, an alternative for the bars.
I've been running 0.8 for about an hour or so and here's what I've noticed thus far:
For the wifi tether, infrastructure works but on the old wifi tether, not the new "mifi" one.
The text messaging app looks good except for the recieved messages; the text is white and the background is very light making it almost unreadable.
After that, it's basically perfect, feels alot faster and smoother than the previous build. I'd thank you but i cant find the thank button anymore o.0. Thanks for all the work, man!

I promised rgocal the first thing I would do was test video streaming. It's perfect over both wifi and 3G, through YouTube and Quickpic. Whatever you fixed, fixed it.
As for my impressions of the mms app. Well, actually, they're pretty much exactly this:

Tethering: I really don't use it at all, so ad-hoc vs. infrastructure is honestly a lot of gibberish to me.
I've also decided that I'm willing to rethink my stance on Dolphin Browser (that it was nice, but not quite what I was looking for).

360 tasker says a program update is available. Would updating this app. leave the translations intact?
Im afraid not. If you know jiberish...by all means. Il keep everyone posted on that if it updates. The 360 launcher however, if it notifies a update. It will be english however last time i tried updating it, the apk needed signed first so idk whats up with that. There is also a 360 android market available. Sorta easy to navigate but again in jiberish. Hoping the devs translate everything. At some point but il keep everyone posted on updates on those packages if you use them. Ik adw and go launcher do work awesome on bionix so switching over doesnt hurt my feelings ^_^ just when a rom is built, it needs some sort of base to build on.

If you're looking for something different from the typical Android launcher style, Hi Launcher also works really really well on Bionix. It'll be weird to get used to, but I can see it being a pretty strong contender for my main launcher, if I can just figure out how I want to organize it.
Ok, so I have a problem with the choice to make the camera button a secondary power button. I understand that, as an actual camera button, it doesn't play well with the modded camera app. However, I keep my phone in my pocket most of the time, including when I'm sitting in confined lecture hall chairs at school. This is causing the camera button to be pressed down a lot, which has a pretty serious impact on battery life, as it wakes the display every time it happens. I just wanna know, is it safe for me to change this function on my own? I was thinking of maybe using this app to switch it to something that doesn't cause the display to wake.

I hesitated to say...everything seems to work so well, and it seems so minor. This would be my only complaint as well. I like the back option, but maybe the power option could be disabled?
Interesting bug here. I decided to reboot, as the phone seemed to be running a little slower than usual. When it finished rebooting, I got the unclean shutdown notification and a couple apps disappeared from my homescreens.

Il probably integrate that button chooser app into the settings. Because this is gna have to be a user choice to change since i experience these problems on my razr and not really something i can change on choice.
So my goal will be able to integrate that button changer in preferences settings.

I tried it out and, as it stands, the app can't seem to detect the camera button.
Im gna take a break for awhile cuz i need to get some things situated in reallife but if anything acts up, il be sure to fix it right away but its lookin like the rom is solid'sh

Thanks again guys
Sorry to bug you but I really need to be able to disable the camera button power switch as it has caused numerous call drops.
Edit: il make a flashable zip to revert the button behavior back to normal and another to make it have to no power control. Il try to have iem up later today.
Im gna make you guys a flashable zip-add-on to bring back the scripts and thisl allow users to swap out the keylayout and fix their problems.
Side note- do you guys enjoy the 360 launcher or would you like me to take another shot at making a launcher designed for Bionix? Il focus on adw source this time instead of touchwiz.

So far I think the best launcher was in version 2. In fact, to date, I think version 2 was the best so far! Of course I don't use the tethering options.

I've only experienced Bionix with 360 Launcher, except for one short stint with Hi Launcher. My previous experience with ADW says that its source is a great starting point for building a good launcher. I say options are good, so perhaps you could bake in a couple launchers and let the users choose what they like the most.
Il keep the 360 launcher downloadable as i have the sense launcher is up in the add-ons
Il be using the adw2 source so it wont have many options available. Il try to add some extra options. My main goal is appearance and speed.

With everyone having problems with the camera button (with the new camera app) - couldn't someone just remove that camera app from the zip and put the old camera back in to fix the problem? Just a thought as I might do this and see if that fixes the camera button issue.

For what it is worth, I like the LP Sense UI. Simple and minimal screen impact.
Look into camera issues with 8. The camera button hangs up on phone calls, this is huge. in 2 during a phone call the camera button does nothing which is good.

Would it be possible to make a script or something that deletes certain files from the SD card on boot? One or more of my apps adds picture advertisements to a directory on my SD card and I would love an automated process to remove that crap.
Definitely the fastest build and smoothest build you've ever put out IMO. Thank you for all your hard work, this will definitely tide me over until I can upgrade and hopefully use another fantastic rom you might release for the razr or something

Erm, apparently the Flash Player 10.3's download link is either expired or inactive O.o
Updating the link... sorry for the inconvenience
Edit: all fixed, updated to flash player 11.0 for arm6 devices. Little improvement guys. Remember, after install, reboot. Takes about 12 hefty mbs of ally memory life tho.

No inconvenience man, just letting you know And thanks for info!
If you tweaked something, thanks, if not, thanks anyway lol: link2sd works now. My TB backup was one where I'd made Link2SD a system app, and that was messing up in Bionix when I tried to restore. I downloaded it from the market, and it runs as smooth as butter
Ok, I'm wanting to update here soon, but I just have one question. I've got a security key for Star Wars: The Old Republic. When uninstalled, it cannot be reinstalled and used properly without first calling customer support to have the key removed from my account so that I can effectively set up a new key. As long as I don't wipe user data, this app should be totally unaffected during the ROM update, right?

Dont delete the cache as well in that case... do a nandroid just in case.
