The Catalyst has begun, Bionx is evolving and its finally here for Droid Razr owners! Catalyst is the Sequel rom to Bionx Nx (one of the best stock based roms for the Droid Razr)
Catalyst is labled as a Powerfull, Multimedia, HD Power rom run by the new Bionx Dashboard. The Bionx Dashboard was introduced in the final update for Bionx Nx users. Than, it was new layout for the Bionx app. Now, its a powerfull toolkit that replaced the Bionx app that now runs the whole rom. Much approved by LG Spectrum users who were the first to try the new toolkit. Eventually, the Bionx Dashboard will be open sourced once its complete, so that other devs can port to other devices. Droid 4 owners, ask a dev to contact me if you wish a port.
Time to move one...

This rom was intended for Cdma devices.
Did u flash the gsm patch prior to booting? Their will be bugs present in a gsm patched build and without a gsm developer working with me, itl be hard to work with ur devices to.

if I used a patch gsm, as in the other versions Bionix,
and no signal problem in the least,
I have the same patch used in other versions Cdma JB and I have that problem
but my preference for this rom makes me insist on it
repeat if the problem just me having deleted my partition by cid, I apologize
Il try to get other GSM users to provide feedback because if thats the case, il add a device identifier line in the installer script and allow the rom to install different versions on either CDMA or GSM
Just got this running a few hours ago and everything's pretty smooth so far. Got 4G right away. Got a token error when trying to set up email at first. Security settings in the dashboard force closed. That's all I've found, but I really haven't had time to dig to deep(at work). Will have fun playing with this in the morning. Excellent work as usual Biotic.

Nice ROM! Very smooth and fast. As far as I can see pretty much everything works. The only glitch I see is the menu button doesn't work. Almost as if it wants to be the three soft keys but it's isn't. Other than that everything is flawless.
Oh, and the search button doesn't work either.

I was considering either making the settings.apk hidden and add an actionbar shortcut in the Bionx Dashboard or add Bionx Dashboard activity in Settings. I want a different approach to things in this rom. Their are way to many roms with the same approach.
I have to update the Xperia Z launcher mod with Xperia Widget support. Right now, i suggest users just to install another launcher.
The walkman Player needs patched to support Beats Bravia support. We love Beats but amplification/clarity is even better. Beats is currently not installed. Sony audio is.
Im trying to get Sonys Timescape to integrate properly. (Infinite View is the beginning) Full Social Networking integration and file sharing. (As a Xperia owner, I want to try and port Sonys UI and features)
Connected devices is way to allow ur device to play and share multimedia to other devices connected to your home network. For instance, I can play Breaking Benjamin on my device or stream it to my Xbox 360 with music information. I attempted a port but it seems to have a hard time processing some requests. Any input is appreciated.
I just threw in Icons i found in the MIUI theme manager. Next build will have a better/main theme. (Im a MIUI dye hard fan...)
OTA updater needs activated. I threw in support and built the app from source. This may affect GSM users when an update comes through.
The active links in Bionx Dashboard located in the Changelog Viewer are for users to guide them for assistance/support
The transparent MMS was given to me by a supporting member, I do not know its original developer or origin so i will be deleting it and replacing it with a known source. Probably with the JB version if i can find it or do it myself.
Inverted GApps were suggested to me by a supporting member as well and gave me a zip to use. I believe i found the source so i credited them. Correct me if im wrong.
The Android Settings is not complete. Some may have noticed some icon mismatches or theme quirks. Im attempting a couple of tweaks in the apk itself to provide more options and performance boost.
The system itself is a mess. I need to make corrections to label the rom Stable. Idk how it booted myself but since it did, i released it. Cons to my mistakes may cost battery life at the most. I didnt have time to make corrections but will do in next build.
I believe this rom will boot on a droid 4 with a JB kernel and user layout changes.
XDA users can find a similar thread at XDA for this rom in the Droid Razr development section.
Gotta love Breaking Benjamin!, plus the streaming would be a good idea and a nice thing to have. If you get beats bravia working definitely add it because I am positive that it worked in the ICS build of your ROM. Can't wait to try this out eventually when it is stable. I am rooted on JB but haven't flashed a single ROM yet. Only problem I have with inverted gapps is that they aren't always updated to their newest version and it won't install an updated apk because of the fact that it is inverted. Besides that, really looking forward to this

1.0.1 is very polished. Only noticed one thing so far: the max CPU speed is 1ghz because of an extra freq. slot. I deleted the 650mhz slot & renumbered the remainder & all's well.

Just noticed that 1.0.1 has no Google Now. The voice search apk is in system/app but had no icon in the app drawer & the Google search widget was not listed. I d/l'd it from the market & it works fine so I thought it must've been just an oversight.

I would give it a shot but i had plans on integrateing seeder in the android settings unless this mod proves more worthy? Report back if your going to flash

Might do that today, after I back up Catalyst. I just got it set up the way I want it.
Just an FYI, I was having setup issues with it when I tried to run it on a previously occupied ROM slot after a full wipe.
Deleting & recreating the slot worked perfectly.
Update: Just backed up Catalyst & flashed cross breeder mod. Didn't break anything, but any gain from it is hard to see.
Update2: Seems to have a cumulative effect. Things seem faster/smoother the longer it runs. Placebo?

Did you make this or find it? Il integrate if ypu provide a source?
Well, needless to say icons that BionX kick your ICS rom and edit a bit, only because I did one there,
and for your rom the take, take the layout of a theme for JB, the truth can not remember which,
but here this seems to work better, it seems only some icons, but I put in like the drums and the H +

I love this rom. It is not having any of the issues that I was having on ICS!! The only thing i have having an issue with is the cpu is at 1.0 which you have addressed already, and when I did a dalvik cache wipe, it is now stuck in a boot loop. It has been sitting there for about 10 minutes. Do you reckon it is something with the rom or with safestrap 3.11? Thanks for all the hard work you have put into this new rom.

That's happened the last 3 times that I've attempted either a cache or dalvik or cache/dalvik wipe on this ROM. Its the only instability I've seen on v1.01 & yes I'm on SS3.11.

Same boat, trying to find why it does such a boot loop in that case.

Awesome! ! That makes me happy knowing I am not the only one with this issue and that it is being addressed.
Also, your ROM is not the only ROM with this issue. Google "phone boot loops after wiping dalvik cache" there is a lot of responses. I will look later today to try and help.
I let it sit in the boot loop for about an hour to see if it would pull through and nothing.
I did some searching around, and i haven't really found anything. Mostly a bunch of dead ends. I am not a programmer, so I wouldn't know the first step to looking into the code. sorry.

Does this fix the problem when the phone goes into a bootloop from wiping the dalvik cache? would i be able to get the .zip of this. i want to see if i can flash it over the bootlooping version to see if that will get it to work.
well, i guess i will just avoid wiping the dalvik cache on this rom.
I would try it when you first flash it, because then your work won't be lost, and then you will know right away. Or even quick create a new ROM slot and check, and then delete the slot or whatever you want from there

1.1 still bootloops with cache/dalvik wipe. I tried to flash it over the previous version & it still hung at the animation. Had to delete/ recreate the slot to get it to boot.
