I downloaded 1.5.2.4 from goomanager but it won't install from CWM. Different type of zip and I can only flash from TWRP? Or a bad download? Do you plan on including 1.5.2.4 to the OP? Thanks!

I figured out my problem.. if i restored my text messages from titanium back up it screws some thing up. so is there a different way to restore text messages with out using titanium back up?

Some of the messaging apps on the Play store do back ups. Go Sms for one. You could download one, back up, install the ROM, download from Play again and restore.

Not that i know of is there any reason you would even need to restore text messages?

I would do as cartersball suggests that's probably the safest method

EDIT: I'm glad you figured out the issue, I didn't think is was the rom itself. Anyone having issues with anything? Everything working A ok?

For me SMS Backup + is one of the best sms back-up app out there.

Did a backup of my prevail sms's before switching to the warp, more than 2000 sms's and it did restore all of them back flawlessly.

Im still have issues connecting to wifi. i can get it to work but i have to turn it on and off and then do a reboot

Hello everyone havent been on the forums in a while, been so busy havent had a chance to flas the newest Shin rom, so how is everything working with it? Im download it asi write this and will come back and edit this post if i run into any issues or just to say how awesome it runs on my warp! also you know i had a chance to buy a used boost EVO very very cheap, but decided to stick with my warp until it finally dies on me , dont know i just love this cell for some reason, lol have a good evening everyone..

Finished installing the new Build of the rom, It installed without a hitch, booted into the phone logged into my gmail account with no problem, started up the Wifi and it found my connection, i connected to it, but telling me when i try and access play store "No Connection" any ideas? already restarted the cell and same thing.. tried conneting to another wifi and did the same. The Camera APP is also giving me a force close , i use instagram i wonder if the built in instagram camera will also force close i take lots of pictures, lol , anyways if anyone has any idea on the wifi i would appreciate it.

Well installed this yesterday and got to say I like it, runs extremely smooth and very fast, liking it so far... kudos man....

The only issues I've found have still been with the camera. I still get a force close every now and again. Sometimes it hangs up in the middle of takin a pic. This last one isn't a big deal but when you get on the second page of the color effects.... negative, posterize, solarize and aqua... hitting any of them will force close. Like I said, not a big deal. Thanks for the ROM man! It kicks ass!!

It's from an app called "font installer" free and has a lot of fonts to choose from. Just pick what you want, install and reboot

Louie, did you install 1.5.2.3? there's a update on goomanager for 1.5.2.4
but you have to have .3 to get it. The new camera works ALOT better, but with some minor glitches, nothing like what it was tho.

Just to throw it out there, I came from tweak nation, straight to 1.5.2.4 without a problem. Maybe I was supposed to come from. 3 but like I've said I've had no problems whatsoever

@nef.... lol.... i see where your coming from.... what you said tho, was that you came straight from TweakNation to Shin's 1.5.2.4 but I never seen a link on the OP. So I assumed you would need .3 to have goomanager and then .4..... Anyway been a long day.... Great Rom Shin!! Rockin this baby as my daily!!

Thank you, i did notice one issue but it could be my doing because i flashed over a project of which i can't mention. lol But sticky toggles are back for me, anyone else experiencing this? If so i will make an update tomorrow night.

Shin, you holding out on us?? Lol... no issues for me aside from an occasional android.process and a camera force close but they've been few and far between.

Congrats Shin. Excellence is always recognized. Over 24 hours now with the latest update and still no issues. Phone is super fast, running at 1.4 currently, and all apps are working great.







I think it's time to tackle some wakelock apps and see if I can extend the life of the stock battery.

not really, you can underclock. try set cpu if you want profiles for wakelock and screen off.

Hey shin, i flashed about 24 times and tried a few tricks i know but camera still aint working. first flash was good everything worked no lag nothing at all but later in the day camera wouldnt work black screen.. So any one else have the problem?

i removed live wallpaper support but it can be added back, there will also be a new kernel update later. I made a new kernel using DTM sources he will also get a copy of my edits.

i ported xvmallocation, Zram, Zcache, Cleancache, Frontswap, and Tiny preempt Rcu.

EDIT2: I also upped the read ahead values in the kernel for internal I/O performance!!

wow... soo many updates since I was last here...

anyway its not possible to update from beta 3 without fresh install is it? I have 6k+ msgs and hundreds of saved passwords and don't want to lose them and titanium won't back up my stuff either

You could backup the messages with a messaging app from market or an app built just for backing up messages. Depending on the browser you could do a backup that would be restorable. Some of them have online backup installed.
Your Warp is as old as mine I'd bet, Nov. of last year here, if that's the case I have not experienced the issues others have had with certain restores breaking MMS.
Nevertheless, you could always make a nandroid, install new ROM, test out the theories and go back if needed.
