hi this rom is great been looking for one for awhile did my phone plus wife an two kids phone was going to upgrade but wont now thank you so muck just sorry to see you wont be working on it no more thats areal shame this work is awsome once again thank you
Hey guys, I know I haven't been too reliable in the past (sorry), but since shin's (a.k.a. the best rom developer ever) phone is k.i.a., I'll be picking up where he left off. If you have any ideas on improvements or customization, please message me. I'd love input from you guys. Shin made this rom with us in mind, and I plan to continue that same idea.
I just wanted to report in an ongoing issue I've had through several versions of this rom.
Problem is that my mic doesn't work when anything is connected via headphone port, ever!
I often use the headset port in the cars since the Sony CD player wont recognize the player in USB storage mode.
Back before i used this rom, i could take calls when connected and talk using the phones mic and hear through the car stereo. Now i have to disconnect each time i get a call for the mic to work! Kind of a pain!
Yes thank u sir, I wanted to try this from. N after days trying to get it mounted right n then today going back n actually reading the instructions I got it goin n love it.
I might be wrong but my guess is he posted in the wrong forum. He doesn't have a warp anymore. My guess is he thought he was posting in the sequent forums as he's built a sequent ROM under the same name.
Lol us I had the same thought, I new it was posted for no warp updates, n the same rom he had for the sequent, but thought I'd respond anyway just in case lol.
I meant to post here... I will be releasing a small update for the N860
EDIT: Update is uploaded you should get a notification in the next few hours. as i said its a very small udpate but will make my rom run even better then before. includes some kernel tweaks, Vm tweaks, and minfree/oom values
I flashed this today and I like the look but it seems like ever since this morning when I flashed it, things are getting laggier (probably not a word). I am coming from Mr Bobo's n00b rom which was very snappy so I could just be used to that but is anybody else having any problems
There are issues when flashing from other roms, did you do a factory reset? My rom uses diff. permissions then the other stock based roms. And the update i made never mirrored so i re-upped and it should post in a bit.
Anyone tried the new update? Please post your results or findings so I can fine tune the update. You should notice more free ram. And more responsive task killing for resource hungry apps.
Device(s): Galaxy Note II
ZTE Warp n00b ROM
Samsung Prevail CT Mod ROM

First Impressions
First off, I forgot how modded up you themed this, it's lovely!
I will keep running this for a while and let you know if I find any issues, so far it's running smooth!
minor details:
solid explorer only worked for one use, then it says that the beta expired and need to install a new version from the play store, not a big deal but annoying
not sure if it's just the dark theme but if I put the phone on auto brightness indoors it seems slightly dimmer than "normal" coming from other ROMs...
EDIT: when you said it would free up some RAM, did you mean swap or RAM? The memory used shows only 2% of ram free, which I think is normal for android, swap shows 99% free. I am loading the phone up with my normal bloatware to give it a run for it's money with some heavier apps running and will report back.

I got it fashed today. Seems a little smoother, but i didn't note the ram levels and such before and after the update, so IDK.

You might try changing the setting in the voltage control app. Just play around with it until you find something that works better for you

New update works very well, Only issue I have with this rom is when I search my contacts or look at my alarms the text color is the same as the background color (white) so I cant see any of the words. Any way to fix that?!? Love the rom other than that, Thanks Dev.
Thanks for the great ZTE Warp ROM. I have been using version 1.5.2.4 for the last several months and it has worked great. I just downloaded version 1.5.2.5-Update (154 KB file) and installed it using CWM (install zip from sdcard). CWM showed that the install was complete. How can I verify the version 1.5.2.5?
Now I am still getting the "System updates" message "Downloaded and verified 42.6 MB". "This Software Update includes new enhancements for your warp". It is asking me to restart and install. Do I still need to install the 42.6 mb update as well for your 1.5.2.5-Update? Or is that a ZTE system software update? I don't want to update anything from ZTE. If it is a ZTE system software update, how do I disable the notification? The notification pops up every hour.
I appreciate inputs from everybody.

Hm... I've been stuck on this problem for a while now. My multitouch isn't functioning properly. Oh well... doesn't matter, I'm switching over to the sequent sometime this week.

I will try to remove stock ota update in a later version for now just ignore it as best as you can.
I too have noticed it is getting laggy with the last two updates. I have tried different schedulers and such with no positive results. Any chance for a 3x kernel?
Those of you that do not have the laggy issue, what scheduler settings do you use? Interactive response is very important to me.
I also see issues with GPS, having to enable / disable and reboot a few times before my GPS will come back on. I had this issue with my LG Optimus as well - maybe it is a curse that follows me.
Oh and is there a way to keep the screen on while in speakerphone? Since it is only in speakerphone mode the mic appears to work. And half the time I can't get the screen back on until the call ends - so I can't check my calendar or verify an address...
you are the only person having these issues as i have flashed every update i have ever made to my fiancee's phone and she has none of these symptoms. I suggest if your flashing from another rom to do like i said 10x in the thread. A FACTORY RESET, you have two posts and you really used the one of them just to get on here and complain instead of reading the thread fully. alot of this stuff has already been fixed. this rom is technically dead why get on here and post negative? move to an active rom. i will have this thread closed.
I'm sorry if i come across as ill tempered, i'm just tired of ungrateful people who wasn't there to support me at all. popping in to make one post bitching and complaining about stuff. didn't bother so much before but this rom is dead. i mean seriously one post they probably wont ever make another post on the forum.................
