Default DSP Manager force closes!

So I downloaded the DSP manager from xda developer, flashed the zip through recovery and worked for less than a minute until, it started force closing. I'm pretty sure it's a system app because it can't be un installed. Anyways, my question is:
Why is it force closing?
Also what can I do to fix it?

Delete everything in system/lib/soundfx replace the contents after deleting them with the libs from the zip and then push dsp manager.apk to system/app reboot to recovery and fix permissions and wipe both caches
