Please old school boost ppl, back me up here. Boost reps on fb & phone have denied it flat out... but they did offer it. So are they misinformed, lazy or told to lie outright??? Any help & some posts on their FB page would be helpful thanks.
This is fact, when I 1st got on with boost, in S. FLA. (5yrs ago ?) They had just rolled out Sprint cdma. The plan "monthly unlimited" b4 "nationwide" coverage was added. Remember, the $35talk/ $40text & $45data plans?
***My point? My Moto W385 got service in my tri county area, but outside my home towers I would see a roaming triangle. If you dialed out you got a Verizion message about setting up pay per minute calling on a credit card.
A year later they went "nationwide" (that was already available for a $5 add on) They texted me & wife, no more roaming fees blah blah blah. Called to make sure rate didnt go up to $50 & confirmed no roaming charges. Later realized it just meant no more roaming period. That worked for us at the time.
Now my wife travels for work (mostly western US) I'm sure you've seen the coverage maps... cities & highways is about it. I tried to reach out to Boost for any options even if it meant paying for an add on &/ a per min rate. NO knowledge, NO patience, NO help thanks.
*If you would like to have an option here or remember this service, please start posting to them on FaceBook.
*Remind them prepaid has alot of competition these days & to check the coverage maps for not just T-Mob n Verizion prepay, but even net10 has them slaughtered.
* If you think prepay shouldn't expect roaming check into Metro's "TravelTalk" $2 per month adds a huge roaming area of 2g (unlimited free text/ 19¢ per min talk) why don't we get that?
* If you remember this setup on Boost at post a lil something here... & think about it they're suppost to compete for ur buisness not expect it.
P.S. im not crazy... they may have said i was but im definately not crazy they said it but it was jus the rats... rats would make anyone crazy... :screwy:

My Venice had a popup asking me if I wanted to roam on at least 2 occasions and the last time I checked the box to always remember my decision. Don't know if that means anything or not, but it happened.
