C Spire's official tethering policy

According to the C Spire Terms of Service (ToS) available at http://www.cspire.com/legal/general_landing.jsp?id=/generic/customerServiceAgreement

C Spire's official policy about tethering is

UNLIMITED PLANS AND FEATURES (UNLESS NOTED AS SPECIFICALLY FOR USE WITH A LAPTOP OR OTHER COMPUTING DEVICE NOT SUPPLIED BY C SPIRE) CANNOT BE USED FOR ANY APPLICATIONS THAT TETHER THE DEVICE (THROUGH USE OF, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, CONNECTION KITS, OTHER PHONE/PDA-TO-COMPUTER ACCESSORIES, BLUETOOTH® OR ANY OTHER WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY) TO LAPTOPS, PCS, OR OTHER EQUIPMENT FOR ANY PURPOSE. Certain C Spire Service plans may allow Customer to tether the Wireless Device to Laptops, PCs, or other equipment. Service is not intended to provide full-time connections and the Service may be discontinued after a significant period of inactivity or after sessions of excessive usage.

At this time C Spire does not offer a tethering plan, however a plan should be available in 2012.
