So I have a Captivate, root, downloaded rom manger, backed everything up, restarted, hit "download rom" which brought me to "extras", clicked, that brought me to eclair/froyo 2.2.2, so I click and downloaded, checked "back up data, clear cache" started the new rom, everything looked like it was going good, went to what looked similar to a boot screen, all text said backup successful, installing..... yadda yadda process and after all was said and done, phone rebooted with what seems to be factory settings, except I still have root and files intact. No hint of froyo. Is this normal? What did I miss? After much reading I can't find anything on any forums of this same thing happening to anyone else. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
