welcome to the forum and sorry for what has happened. When you turn the phone on, what happens? Also have you performed any hacks, rooting or anything at all to the phone prior to the update crash?
It sounds like you have the OTA brick issue. If you bought your phone new and have not hacked it in any way, including rooting your phone, you may want to call AT&T, find a local warranty center and have the phone replaced.
