Default Odin help?

I'm trying to get Odin and do a master clear, but I can't get Odin and I'm not sure why. I have a unrar, but am unsure what the next step is. Help is appreciated.

Extract the File with Winrar(or whatever program you use). This will create a Folder with the .exe file you need. Run the file and Odin starts on your computer.

Here link to Video on How to use:

Thanks for the vid. It'll make things alot easier, but I have one question about Ti BU. It's telling me I need to go to my settings, applications and tick the unknown sources checkbox, but I don't have that as an option. It says it won't be able to backup apps without this box checked, any ideas?

That can be ignored on the Captivate and goes away with the pay version (which you're really going to want).

I wouldn't Flash the Stock 2.2 on the Captivate you need to Flash the "Stock" your phone had to start with out of the box. There are indeed 2 Odins one for 2.1 and one for 2.2 but use the 2.1.

Everytime I click the link for an Odin for 2.1 I get a broken URL. I haven't been able to find a working 2.1 Odin.

Yes please. Born2Snoboard10@charter.net. I've got everything backed up with Ti BU, I think I'm going to try to flash to Froyo using the above video. If it goes poorly, I'll just backup.

Link can be found in the Captivate FAQ:

Resetting/Restoring - CapFAQ

Always a good place to check first.

Thanks guys, mission accomplished. Flashed back to stock. Appreciate the help. Especially you, CrimsonPride, that download was going to take 45min without you e-mailing it to me.
