Default SU Binary Update?
I got a message this morning that my su binary is outdated and that I should update. All I can tell is that is seems to be related to rooting (I'm assuming "su" is super user). Is there any risk in updating this. It looks to be going to version 3.something, and I just want to be sure it's not assuming Android 3 and will mess something up.

Just updated mine. Version: 3.0.2 dated 10/6/11.

Although link below may reflect 3.0.1 as latest version, actual update to 3.0.2 fixes a force close when viewing app details on phones..

Yes, it's for super user. It happened to me after the recent update. I just tapped on the notification and it updated in a few seconds.

Cool su binary update 3.0
did you guys have any problems getting the update cause mine always fails at copy su to system (im running vibrant 2.2 froyo)
