Do I need Lag fix or Root? Which OS?
I've tried searching, but everything that comes up seem over a year old. I'm sorry if a similar thread already exists. I am running Froyo 2.2 (Unrooted), but I am having a lot of problems with freezing, lagging and force quit, regardless of which app is being used. I would also like to remove the unnecessary default apps given with the Captivate. Otherwise, I like everything else the way it is in Froyo 2.2.
To fix my problem(s), Do I need to root? And what Rom/OS do I need if I want essentially Froyo 2.2 (or a more current version).
Or should I just try lag fix?
