Sad i nead help please

i have a problem with my Samsung Galaxt Captivate i gave to my phone to my friend and he bring to me with out not working when i torn on phone shows Systems Corps i tryed everything but not working can some one help me please i don't know what to do.

Was your phone rooted when you gave it to your friend? If not, did you friend try and root it for you? First thing I'd do is see if you can get into recovery. Pull the battery out, then put it back in. Now hold the vol. up + vol. down + power button. The screen will flash the splash screen twice then release the power button but keep holding the vol. buttons until you get into the recovery menu. If you get that far, clear the cache and perform a data reset.

If he attempted to root and messed it up, you'll need to reflash your phone. There are instructions in the sticky at the top of this forum. If you are not comfortable doing that, then take it to your carrier store and they should be able to set it back to factory settings for you.
