Root on 2.3.6?
Hi there.
I've been poking all over the internet for answers, but are there any root methods confirmed to work on Android 2.3.6 for this phone? And do any of them cause loss of apps or data? Also, do any of them work on Linux?
When I had a Motorola Flipside, I could send psneuter to the phone and run it from an adb shell to gain temproot, and from there was able to add the necessary files without losing anything. psneuter does not work on this phone, nor does GingerBreak. Are there any exploits like that? I'm completely comfortable with rooting the phone from the command line.
EDIT: zergRush does not work either.
