Default How do you change default home screen?

I have 3 home screens but when I press the "Home" button, it always goes to the 3rd (last) home screen. Is there a way to specify which home screen I want to return to when pressing the "Home" button?

So far no one knows a way to specifically pick your home screen. But after some testing one poster did figure this out. If you have anywhere from 1-3 screens the "home key" screen will be the screen to the far right. If you have 4-7 screens it will be the 4th screen from the left. Odd I know but true. So the only way to have your "home key" Screen to be the middle screen is to have 7 screens which is what I now have.. 4 of which I am not even using. I am hoping this gets changed in an update so that you can actually select which screen you want to be your home screen.

This is typical Android.... The Middle screen will always be your default screen. But if you use LauncherPro or ADW.Launcher in the Market, you can customize it anyway way you want. Even pick which homescreen and how many screens you want. Try it out. I recommend it better than the touchwiz ui

This is not true.. I wish it were.. Read the post above.. The middle screen is not always your default screen.

So if you use launcherpro does it just automatically replace the touchwiz?

Ah yeah, On touchwiz you would have to work around going from the right and left sides to pick on homescreen you want.

Launcherpro will replace the homescreen touchwiz ui, everything else is still touchwiz. if you don't like launcherpro or any other 3rd party home launcher, install home switcher in market. you can easily switch between which launcher you want and set as default.

Since TouchWiz has a specific screen chosen at the 'home screen,' I just removed the far left and the far right screens to keep the home screen in the center. All you would need to do to get the default in the middle is delete the far left screen, and add a new one on the far right.

I just hit the menu key >edit> and then you can toggle your screens left to right by holding down on one and then sliding it around the others. Whatever window you want to keep as your MAIN homescreen just toggle all the way to the left.

I never knew this was a problem..
try this..

click the menu soft key---> and tap edit..and then scroll to where you want a new screen and tap add (the + sign) then scroll to the right or to the left to add a new blank page..
depending on which direction you scroll... your home page should change position..if you mess around with this you will eventually get the hang of it...

I find it easy..i only use two pages though lol not seven

Probably posted elsewhere but this is the thread I found.

On my Fascinate there is a cog wheel on each screen. If you press it allows you to choose which home screen you want.

Hi,
I found that by deleting all but one home screen, the default home screen gets reset to no1.
If you plan on doing that, be sure to take screen shots of your home screens as you'll have to set them up again.

Cmon its easy. Press home twice. Then all screens are visible. Move your special home screen to the center by pressing
it until its movable then put it in the center.
