Default Can you still mount via USB with a broken screen?

Hey guys, over the weekend my screen cracked. I have a new captivate through my insurance, so that is nice. But the issue I am facing now is that I have pretty much lost all of the data on the old phone, because I can't access it.

Is there any way I can force the SD card to mount via USB without a functional display? The phone is at the very least in debugging mode when I plug it into the USB, and I do have the SDK, and thus, a terminal emulator. With that I should be able to access some of my saved/backed up data on the SD card. Does anyone have an information as to how I might do this? Or, better yet, a link to a guide? I've searched around, but failed to find what I am looking for. Thanks for any help!

P.S. I have most of the stuff backed up via titanium backup, but from what I gather, this is all stored on the internal SD card as opposed to the removable one.

Titanium backup will back up the data to wherever you'd like. It only defaults to sdcard/TitaniumBackup but the first step Captivate users should do is change this to sdcard/sd/TitaniumBackup so that it's stored on the external MicroSD card instead.

This is mentioned in the Captivate FAQ:
Backup - CapFAQ

TB also can sync your backup online to DropBox. You can read about DropBox here:
Dropbox - CapFAQ

I know it doesn't help you this round, but info for next time.

do you have adb debugging enabled? If you do, you can use ADB to pull all of the files off of your internal sdcard

Thanks for the info Sremick. It was absolutely my own fault, as I assumed that it would default to the external. Now I know! I am going to peruse the ADB shell options, perhaps I can copy over the backed up data. Otherwise, I am going to replace the screen and sell the phone to a friend, so I can just wait it out.
