Default Samsung Captivate

Hi everyone im Hulk41. I recently got a text message from AT&T stating that the upgrade for samsung captivate from 2.1 to 2.2 was ready. I went to the suggested download from AT&T and Samsung. Android 2.2 loaded with no problem, but since I did the upgrade to 2.2 my screen freezes alot, forces close, touch screen response is very slow. Overall the phone was much better when it was 2.1. Very disappointed that I went to 2.2. Has anyone else had this issue. Called Samsung and they said there was noway to go back to Android 2.1

You need to do a factory reset. Updating to 2.2 replaced a lot of the old apps, but the store data was not cleared, which causes conflicts with the new apps.

Another tip: proper use of the "subject" when making a thread will get you better support.
