Default Screen has become very sporadic!

It's annoying. Ever since my dad replaced the digitizer in my captivate, it has had a couple glitches here and there.

But lately, it has gone off the wall.

There is one horizontal and one vertical line that is simply not sensitive to touch. This means a whole square to the center left is unresponsive, making my letter "e" nearly useless in portrait mode.

But that's not the worst part. On occasion, the nonresponsive vertical line goes absolutely insane. pushing 6 or so random points simultaneously and very rapidly.

I've been in the middle of calling someone, and it spontaneously hangs up, leaves the menu, pushes another contact, and calls them.

It has also pushed through a variety of menus and sent texts saying stuff like "xwszsesx zs sw xes xswsaz wsxw" to random people, like my professors or parents.

This is really ticking me off. Does anyone know how to fix this at all?

I had it fixed for a while. someone said they had the same problem, and that they just turned it off, took out the SIM and SD, waited a while, then restarted it.

This worked when it happened before. It fixed it for about 2 months. now, I'm not having such luck.

Any suggestions?
