J, I would also post a note in that thread to the Dev, so he knows why it was closed, some don't read the notes at the bottom of the thread, so this way members can see and the Dev also, I was going to post it, but thought it be best from you.

NP, was just giving you the heads up, I have notice many are having reboot issue, I would assume they are flashing alternate Kernels as it looks this Rom comes with the stock kernel. Why so many reboots, or is the stock kernel modified. I may flash this Rom to see

Op is updated ill get title when i get to pc. As soon as I get home ill change title. The reboots seem to be mainly kernel related and people with hrdware 002. There's a few possibilities that are being looked into one being system data being restored from previous versions. The gt version with working CRT has not always worked for all people so were suggesting to use the bug free version until the problem is solved. CRT has been a pain on this base. Just the fact that drop got it working and its fast was a major accomplishment. I'll post any fixes and or possible fixes if anyone is willing to test them out.

Are you saying that the 2.2A version is more stable then the Rezound 2.4 GT version ??

They have both been stable for me. But yes the non gt version is a failsafe for those who can't get gt to boot. There have been issues for some users ever since the first release. That's pretty much the.main reason for the two versions. They are both just as stable IMO gt is faster. And non is for everyone that gets stuck on HTC screen and people who want to flash there own mods. Don't get me wrong a lot.of mods work on gt but some break stuff.

I only installed 2.2 and no issues, other than hitting the damn Voice integration, so I had to go into my account and deactivate, all fine now, so far so good, but not sure about signal seems to fluctuate a little more, maybe it was where I was at Costco, it is really bad there and I know that the radio stays the same, but I have seen different signals on different roms, I will keep it for a bit and see, and maybe try 2.4GT tomorrow. Reminder, you still didn't edit the title, if you need help let me know.

I've been running 2.4GT since you guys released it. I haven't seen any issues. Battery life seems on par with nearly everything else.

Although I manually theme my ROMs with Ninjamorph, although Ninjamorph doesn't work with ZR3D automatically. I use it to compile the jars and APKs and then manually move them into their /system folders. Sorry, the white icons are boring, IMO, and I hate Gingerbread Green (I use ADW instead of Sense...folders are a must have for me as well as being able to reduce everything to 4 home screens)

Try Apps Organizer, I like this, allow you to edit the icons and create nice looking folders. Nice little widget.

Totally forgot about the title. I'll fix it now. It's funny you mention the signal this ROM actually benifited me on metro being that its pretty much the only one that has allowed me to connect to evdo. 2.5 is in the pipleline now so I may be updating again very shortly.

Honestly, I haven't liked any of the changes since 1.6 was released.

I know how you feel. The thing is when releasing these things is trying to keep the general public happy. We had a lot of people.that couldn't get it to boot. Which led to multiple versions. Plus a lot of people that ask for a stock look when we don't have stock phones but everyone has there preferences. I don't go too heavy on the themeing myself I always mod mine totally different than the releases. Mainly with transparent apks w/o going crazy on color and icons so I can still see everything since I work outside. But hey if you like 1.6 best run it. If I were you I would take system/etc/init_post_boot.sh out of newest release and push to your system etc folder. It will help your battery a lot.

Edit; remember to fix permissions and reboot after u push. Perms rw-r-r

Oh, I know. I haven't used ZR3D since 1.6 though. It is easily my favorite Sense ROM though. I switched back to KM7. I just love my AOSP.

Well I can tell you this for sure, signal strength is definitely rom related also, I was at an office today and had no cell reception at all and no internet service, so while I was there waitng, I decided to create a Nandroid and then I restored my Meanrom version 3.6 and everything worked fine, signal and internet. To make sure I restore the Zr3d 2.2 Nandroid and then again no service there. Works fine outdoors as soon as I went back indoors all went dead again at that ofice

For some reason the WIFI just says ERROR under the drop down menu and in the actual settings. I have restarted it quite a few times, but it happens each time.
Any ideas? Thanks for the awesome rom though!

You unlocked through HTC dev, yes? If so, you flashed the kernel improperly. Read this:

Is there a specific site or dev who works on this Rom ZR3D-4.1-GT that I love so much, just curious as if there's a way to get a keyboard like ICS with arrows at the bottom, it be sweet to see this as an ICS ft Rom, these roms just fly... I keep finding myself coming back to it....

I am experiencing a weird issue. With this version and the last version of this ROM when I try to download from the direct link provided (Dev Host - Dev-Host - ZR3D_GT_4.3.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service), it says the files are 470+ MBs but when it downloads it is only 23.9MB. Last time I had to find someone that had the full zip posted elsewhere. Any ideas what is happening?

Also, I wanted to point out that initially I was having issues with getting WiFi tether to allow my devices to actually connect to the internet. Thanks to nmurdic's youtube post at: "youtube dot com/watch?v=Gi1yhzuqHVo" ... I can now successfully fully use WiFi Tether.

I'm shocked more people have not tried this ROM. Everything works, very stable, great looking, and really fast. I am getting tu tu benchmarks at 5600!!!! I've flashed about 5 different ROMS since rooting and this blows them all out of the water.
