So... Removing cell capabilities
Is it really as simple as adding the ro.carrier=wifi-only tag? I want to turn my old PCD Chaser into a WiFi only 'app player' for somebody, and completely nuke its ability to use 3G or cell towers. Anybody have any experience?
EDIT: Adding the ro.carrier flag does not, in fact, make it non-cell... I'm going to try freezing a few things. Worst case, I brick a broken phone.
