So I spent a couple hours helping a friend root his CLIQ (which was WAY harder than rooting my Droid BTW). We had trouble finding a ROM that we liked. Are there any ROMs built on 2.1 for the CLIQ? Or is there a way to flash the stock 2.1 version onto his phone now?

What we've done so far is:
1) Root the phone using the weird french orange update.zip
2) Flash the custom recovery.img
3) Installed a ROM that he's not entirely pleased with

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. I was expecting to be able to just install ROM Manager on his phone and pick out a ROM like I did on my Droid.

I flashed adlxmod 2.1.5 and i love it. Don't forget to do the DNS patch for 3g. This was my first time rooting anything and i did not have any problems.
