Use the dude method for both just make sure if u have the new radio code u must use the one for 1.3.18 and not 1.3.13

you will need the RSD Lite software, the motorola drivers for your phone and this code http://tinyurl.com/yf5yy9l for radio code 1.3.18
if you are still on radio code 1.3.13 you will use this code ModMyMoto - Software Modding Forums and Updates for Motorola Phones ...

use the same method as the dude root... meaning

instead of using the rom code for 1.3.13 use 1.3.18 if you have that respective radio code...

Ok, so I thought if you were on 1.3.18 you couldn't root. I keep getting mixed messages on this.
