Red face How to restore coby kyros 7127

Hi, I was wondering if there is a simple way to restore this tablet. I just traded it for a keyboard, but I want to restore it. I tried downloading onto it, but google keeps asking me for a password that I don't have. Can somebody help?
thanx

Angie, I found this at the Coby Kyros support site. I think it'll help you.

This factory reset will wipe all use data on the table and restore it to out-of-the-box state:

This procedure will delete all items (files) and entries on the MID7015-please back up files on your computer if possible first. This is a Master Reset Procedure.

Power the unit off. Press and hold the "Power Button" till the "Device Option menu appears.

Click "Power Off" and select "OK"

Once the unit has been turned off. Press and hold the "back" button(silver tone button) and "power" button simultaneously for eight seconds.

When the Android Icon and warning triangle appear , press the "back" button )silver tone button) once.

The Android recovery screen will appear. The "Home/Menu" button will allow you to scroll up and down.

Press the Home/Menu button to scroll to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" Then press the "back" button

On the next screen Scroll to "yes-delete all user data" Press the "back" button.

On the next screen Choose "reboot system now" and Press the "back" button.

You will now be able to access the tablet.

Hope this helps and you can get your tablet up & running
