Microsoft Office has never been developed for Android. The only option for opening Office documents is "Documents To Go", an app from Dataviz that can open and edit Office documents (Excel, Word and PowerPoint files). There is a free version that is a only a viewer, and a paid version (for editing), which is $15 in the US (on Google Play and Amazon).
