I'm running Fedora 17 with Gnome 3. Using a Fallout conky that I found on gnome-look.org
Icon set is just whatever Fedora came with. I haven't touched it yet.

It seems like almost everyone has Linux or unbuntu... Personal choice or is there something I'm missing?

It's a personal choice, I suppose. Windows is too resource heavy on my laptop. Its really just about what works for you.

Yes you can. Ubuntu uses gparted to make separate partitions then on boot you can choose the os.

Mine as of 5 mins ago.
I have two monitors, the right one is smaller. (that's why there's white space there.)
I use Fences by Stardock to hide all my icons, they appear only when I hover over them with my mouse.

Here is my desktop :
https://docs.google.com/open?id=0Bwoi-NcuVpiNNHRMbTBCY1duejA
But , I just feel like I should have something on that top taskbar... ideas?
It's harder cos I've tried using rocket dock , and I've realised that it its a solution for a problem I don't have - I hardly ever use the start menu ...
Mainly cos I have everything with Onmino....

Hadn't posted any lately, so here we go:
I tilted the cube up in the second photo to give a glimpse at all of its desktops. All of my desktops are completely devoid of any stuff. I'm a big time minimalist.

No need to resize them. Just use the img tag and the forum software will automatically resize them, and provide a method for viewers to see the image at full size.

Kubuntu 12.10. I know KDE gets a lot of flak for being resource heavy, or for not being as innovative or efficient as gnome, but it does look good
Normally I prefer Gnome, but I wanted to give kde a try so that's what I've been using for the past month.
setup: windows decoration: air-black, desktop theme: Slim Glow, bottom panel uses the normal kickoff launcher. The google chat icon is actually a chrome extension.

Here's a couple of shots of my Salix OS, based on Slackware 14. I haven't really dressed it up much since I'm using Mageia Beta 3 and when using Betas, it is best to keep it updated so not to bork it.
Adding attachments didn't it seems.
