Im looking to buy a new basic gaming laptop and was looking at an asus (specifically this one Asus - Laptop / Intel® Core™ i7 Processor / 17.3" Display / 6GB Memory - Silver Aluminum - N73SV-A3)

but was wondering if theres beter gaming laptops around the 1200$ mark.

I dont mind lugging around a huge laptop,so size isnt a concern. But I still want it to handle most modern games at decent settings(not looking to max out settings but get playable FPS without looking last gen)

Eh, that 540M is a rather weak card. How much wiggle room do you have on the price?
