Default Zlib error (-3) problem

Ok guys, my computer has started acting up on me recently. One of my favorite programs I have been using starting shooting the Zlib error.
I asked in their forum, but no one seems to know what it is or how to fix it. So I turn to my Android family. There is alot of smart and talented people here.
How can I fix this problem? Has something gone haywire with my computer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Did a quick google search cause I have no motivation to actually work. I found this but since I am not a computer tech savvy person I give no guarantees.

Try this if you want

is it only one program that gives you this error? what program is it? have you tried just reinstalling it?

what exactly does the error message say/look like?

It was on just one program, but it is odd, I was on wifi, had great signal, and was getting the error. I left the area, connected my phone to my computer by tether, and the error went away. So apparantly it was a network or connection problem. Very odd as I have a friend who runs the same program and he never had the problem as I did. I do not know what caused it, or how it fixed itself, but I am glad it did. Thanks BB and NA for your replys. I am still gonna do some studying to see if I can find out why or what happened, that way if it happens again, I will be prepared.
