Default E-Mail synchronisation

I use an Android phone, but my laptop is Windows 7
I use Thunderbird as my e-mail client

How can I keep my e-mails, calendar, contacts & events is sync.

IMAP is not a solution for me.
Birdiesync is the solution I currently use but it does not do the job 100% because it cannot sync mail & events.

Only using google is also not an option, well I don't think so, because I use .com & co.uk e0mail address's

What are my other options?

Personally i use IMAP on my phone, and for POP3 my thunderbird email (it's my own .com domain)

For calendars I use google calendar with lightning add-on for thunderbird which can read google cals.

Contacts I sync through Gmail even though I dont use Gmail. Thunderbird works surprisingly well with G-services.

Basically I use my gmail, gcal, etc as a sync service and not much else.

For my phone I set the email as IMAP and for my desktop I set the email as PO3 so that it downloads and saves the emails on the desktop, while the phone only reads the last 2 weeks or so from the server.

I dunno if that helps, but if not maybe you could give a bit more detail?
