42:16 is a little too long. It might be a hardware problem such as the HDD timing out and re-trying. It can be a drive getting too old (about to crash) or vibration where it stops and retries. Maybe in the next boot-up do copy/backup all the important files to a USB drive... and replace or try a different drive. good wishes to you...
