i know its old but is there any way to save it ? It stugles to turn on and if it does it takes about 42:16 minutes to swich on. Ive got a regestry system called advanced system care but im geting no where!!!!! It freezes very often and the lag is terible. Ive done disk cleanups, defragmentation.....you name it.

It runs on windows xp profesional.

Please help!!!!!!!

Its probably well overdue a reinstall of windows. It needs to be done every now and again.

42:16 is a little too long. It might be a hardware problem such as the HDD timing out and re-trying. It can be a drive getting too old (about to crash) or vibration where it stops and retries. Maybe in the next boot-up do copy/backup all the important files to a USB drive... and replace or try a different drive. good wishes to you...

Specs of computer: 1.4 ghz single core
1.23 g of ram


do you think it will handle windows 7 ultimate ?

Just about but it would be slow. XP would be best for that spec.
