Default System Restore

So I just got some malware and did a system restore from yesterday. Now everytime I try to open a program it brings up a list and asks me which program I would like to use to open it. What the hell?? Anyone tell me how to get rid of this.

Can be deleted. After a little googling I found what I needed in some remote q+a forum. I over-reacted.
