Default Java crashed help

basically i opened few tabs on one site called cricinfo, runs on java, and i know java has crashed, how would i fix this.

ive tried restarting laptop - nothing,
shut down - nothing
allowing battery to drain - nothing
ctrl ult delete - nothing
cant close tabs - wont respond
action centre - comes up with error - system call failed

Are you on the latest Java release (7 update 7 I think)?

Are saying you can not shut down you system or your java app is not working?
