Default Galaxy doesn't work after factory reset

I did a factory reset and now when I insert my sim card it, it says searching. The imei field is even blank. Did I ruin my phone? Can anyone help, please?

hello str8shooter_02, I'm not an expert on GMS phones, but what phone exactly do you have? It also would help to know which carrier you have. Then I think we can start getting this sorted out.
