Default Chromium OS dual boot question

Quick question to anyone who might know:

Does anyone know if chromium OS naturally recognizes other operating systems when it's installing boot? Basically I'm interested in dual booting Chromium with my already existing ubuntu partition, but I'm not sure if chromium uses a Grub 2 menu that will identify ubuntu and put it as a boot option (because I've never installed/reinstalled a grub 2 menu before and I don't feel like messing around with it just yet)

Any help appreciated, thanks!

EDIT: This would be Cr OS 2.3.1255, not chromium OS built from source or Chrome OS like in the chromebooks.
