Default Key to a good "build box"

So, I'm lookin into ways to allocate my donations received and realized I need a good build box. I will need to keep it cheep so no crazy 1k builds. But I need to keep it powerful like 16 core beast.. what's the reccomendations you guys have ? Ways you know to get free or cheap parts?

I don't really understand how you want to get a "cheap" 16 core build, but anything on Amazon , I added to my basket so I could see exactly how much things are increasing/decreasing in price.

PCpartpicker is good too.

So basically you want to built a powerful yet cost-effective computer?

I would think either Intel i3 or i5 2600k/3750k
Cheap Asus Motherboard like the P8Z77-V-LX
Decent COrsair/Seasonic/XFX PSU

If you need a graphics card, I think the nVIDIA 560TI is pretty definitive of "bang for buck".

I would think at least 4GB Corsair Vengeance RAM.

And then wrapped up in a CiT vantage case.

What are you building? AOSP? .NET projects?

If you are building AOSP/AOKP I think you're going to want an SSD, a decent Core i5, and MAMMOTHS amounts of RAM
