Got mine a couple months ago. Love it!
Have to say I use my Win7 notebook more just because it's a larger screen, but the Chromebook can do 99% of my computing needs and it is LIGHT and battery life is phenomenal. Haven't downloaded too many apps since I don't do much in the browser, but the store seems to be growing more and more. Make sure Chrome on your desktop is signed into your account before starting your Chromebook. It'll sync all your tabs and passwords! A little scary but really cool.

Thanks for that. After ordering one and then posting i read a few threads on it and thought I'd made a big mistake. I have a Dell mini 10 at the moment but it's over 4 years old and getting quite slow so am used to a small screen, in fact the Chromebook will be larger lol. My son will get the Dell as his one is awful now and making weird noises. So, do i have to make chrome my browser on my netbook first, I'm a little confused. Also, is there a way of transferring all my ie bookmarks across to chrome?
I'm sure to be back again asking more questions, it arrives Wednesday and is quite a scary prospect lol. Thanks for the help so far xx

Glad you're enjoying it!
I'm on mine since the wife bogarted the laptop.
If you're signed into Chrome (across platforms, Chromium, Android, Windows) it should transfer.
So, let's say I assign a new bookmark on my PC or extension, it should immediately be picked up on my Chromebook. AFAIK that's how it works.

Default Re: Getting the Samsung Chromebook

Just trying to make my work computer sync with it all now, lol. Chrome is installed on it but think they've blocked the sync option as when i click it, it just takes forever and doesn't get anywhere. Oh well, can't have it all i suppose. Still loving it though. Not got many apps on it as yet as i tend to only use my laptop for Web searching but it had potential. Took it to a training session yesterday but it wouldn't connect to their wifi, think it was their wifi though as others couldn't either but disappointed as i didn't get to show off its warp speed lol
