1. Flash stock ec09 in odin (pda section), with pit (this will wipe)

Both at them same time?

2. After phone reboots, place ec09 deodexed on sdcard, then reboot into download mode.
3. Flash recovery in odin (pda section) no pit, and auto reboot unchecked

you mean - this: Ec09 deodexed, rooted (recovery)
http://ubuntuone.com/3qamjuePP9HeY9R8oXZea4
??

Then what do I place onto SD card? Same file?

4. After you get "pass" and "rqt closed" in dialog box, unplug.
5. Pull battery, replace, and boot into recovery.

That's where I had trouble so far, as it boots into recovery mode where power button does not work.
6. Nandroid backup, then flash ec09 deodexed.
7. Wipe dalvik and cache

Ok. Here is the link to recovery (odin)
1. http://ubuntuone.com/02YXcAMWNUSasrSsjgUeKk

Stock ec09(odin)
2. http://ubuntuone.com/6rdDjiMOg45U8YHK3Oo9uW

Pit file(odin)
3. http://ubuntuone.com/2qtwgyRGYPLK10N2u5fN1J

Ec09 deodexed, rooted (recovery)
4. http://ubuntuone.com/3qamjuePP9HeY9R8oXZea4

What's the difference between #1 and #4? both say recovery. Do I do #1, followed by #2 + #3 same tine?

#1 is cwm recovery, to be flashed in odin.
#4 is a deodexed, rooted version of the Rom, to be flashed in recovery.
The part in parentheses is telling what to flash it in. And no worries. I shot you a pm with my number, if you want it
Yes, #w and #3 are placed in odin at the same time. Rom in pda and pit in pit section
Oh, and you put #4 on the sdcard

I get it. Do Odin full recovery #1 plus #3 simultaneously
Install CWM recover via odin
place deodexed somewhere on sd card, and flash it from cwm recovery; my only concern is that, so far, power button produces no function in recovery mode and phone gets stuck in it, and I have to do over via Odin to unlock it again.
Thanks, brother. Really appreciate ph # offer, I know you, you are always helpful. Be well.

All correct, but first step is 2&3, not 1&3

come to think, it's very easy, as there are only 2 tar. files, and one of them is clearly CWM, so it's hard to miss; only one pit file; and only one zip file, which is normally set on SD card anyway. Odin even opens it all in correct order.
Well, flashing as I type.

From the looks of it, your/dbdata is corrupted. Have you tried repartitioning? If you have a corrupted block on your internal sd card, repositioning is the only way I know of to fix it.

Make sure your usb, and micro usb port are both good. Keep in mind, you will lose all data (except what is on your removable sdcard), but I'm sure that is already done, if you've flashed in Odin.

Use the files, and steps laid out a few posts up from yours (when I was helping ukroz). That will put you on the latest firmware.

I agree with you on the corruption, but I have not been able to get it to load with Re-Repartition checked. I tried so many variation, I'll try it again. Some Roms I've tried cause the phone to stop loading.

Thank You

Ok, that didn't work

Biggest problem from this is internal space reads " 0.00B
which doesn't allow additional apps to be loaded

I've seen this problem, but no answers

Thx;s

That's odd. And you are using this with the ec09 Odin? Try downloading the pit again

If that doesn't work, try same pit with the ec07 rel production.tar...

The other option, if neither of those work, is Heimdall. There is a tutorial in the dev database on xda.

... Are you referring to tutorials? Also, what do you mean 'my phone wouldn't turn on'? As in download mode only, not coming on, at all, straight to recovery, what? Gonna need some clarification if I'm gonna help ya.

Available space 0.0B

Unable to add apps

Error in recovery mode do you think the internal memory is permanently or corrupted.

Using E07 have flashed numerous combinations.

Still have "can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1"

Thx's

I don't think it's permanently corrupted, no. I have been making to post on how to use Heimdall on here, anyway. I'll do that, tomorrow. I think that will probably fix your issue.

Yeah. Unfortunately, IRC is pretty much dead. Too many people have moved on from this phone. If you want to meet there, sometime tomorrow, I'll be happy to do so. Or G+, if you are on that. If not, I'll post up the tutorial late tomorrow morning, after I get to my delivery. I assume that the phone is usable, now (sans the corrupted partition not letting you download)

There is the link to my profile, if you are on G+

Yes to +G, looks interesting

I use Google to host my photographs.

I tried heimdall, it would only run to completion a couple of times.

I tried reloading the drivers through heimdall.

Error Mess: "ERROR: Failed to access device. libusb error: -12"

ran miuniastable1.tar version heimdall, successfully, however the phone would not turn on.

This is where I'm at.

Thx's

Try running the ec09 I gave you through it. Do you have 7 zip? If so, use that (it winrar) to get all the way down until you see the constituent files (pbl, sbl, cache, factory, and so on). Let me know if you want to message on g+, and I can walk you through where each file goes, if you need it
