Hi, folks. I bought a refurbed lt7033 to play with development.

a) I got the eclipse bundle from android.com, and java w7/64 from oracle
b) Its twitching with an emulator (though I have to restart adb every time from DDMS)

I followed the "google play" instructions :

a) The ADB composite driver. Shows up in drivers as OK
(When USB debug is turned on, otherwise it mounts correctly as mass media)
b) Installed ES explorer, installed root kit and Google store
NOTE : one bug in the instructions ... when you copy the GP app to system/apps the instructions say to select again. Surely you just paste? (I've only been on android for a few hours...)

Then in the eclipse/ADT environment for "helloworld" I turned on debug, as in (developer.android.)com(/tools/device.html)

But my lt7033 isn't seen. I kill adb and restart it, but the device list is empty.
(It shows emulation OK once that's started)

(Yes, I DID read the offered eclipse threads)

So ... where's the problem -- win7, lt7033 or the man in the middle?

I can get my eclipse helloworld app running OK .. by exporting it and putting it in the download folder. But I can't debug it live. I guess the moral is -- don't try do development on an oddball tablet.

Had a scare though ... W7 kept losing the usb connection. I'd plug it in, it'd show up in devices/folders .. and then disappear with an "unknown device" bubble .... bad USB cable !!!!!!
