For apps2sd you need to:
1. Back up your sdcard to your pc
2. Boot recovery
3. Format sd:ext and set swap size to 0 (unless you have a class 6 card. the card that came with the ally is class 4)
4. Wipe sd:ext (YOU MUST DO THIS EVEN THOUGH YOU JUST FORMATTED!)
5. Place files back on phone
6. Flash rom, if already flashed skip to 7
7. Boot into android
8. Start terminal emulator or adb shell
9. Type su and press enter
10. Run a2sd check
11. Run a2sd cachesd
phone should reboot and your apps should be on your sdcard
ATTENTION THOSE HAVING ISSUES WITH THE KERNEL LIKE KP AND FC EVEN AT 600MHZ:
I did some tweaking and here is the stock kernel:
WIPE CACHE AND DALVIK CACHE BEFORE FLASH. DO NOT WIPE DATA. NON-OC-ADDON
THIS IS NOT OVERCLOCKABLE. ONLY FOR THE 5% WHO CAN'T EVEN RUN AN OC KERNEL AT 600MHZ!

To check the hash make sure it matches the file you downloaded. you don't have to. just recommended

IDK I have been so busy with this i completely forgot to push GRZLA a build. I heavily modified my framework-res.apk so i would wait until he ports it.
Just installed onto my phone, sick rom, my favorite so far. There were apps that wouldn't install on my previous rom which install on this one, love it. Have launcher pro plus now because of it

Hmm seems the final product is a tad FAAASSTTTEERR...?? ROCK N ROLL... In comparison to the last beta, this thing is smoking fast... All my 'stuff' is loaded back on and no issues to report..

Download and save the .zip file to the root of your SD card. Enter your recovery and wipe /data, /cache, /dalvik, and /sd-ext; partition your SD card (for a2sd), then flash the zip file. Enjoy!

First I have to say is superb job! Fast, and responsive at stock 600Mhz, and alot of internal memory open to have so many apps in the stock installl.
My only problem is It crashes to the custom LG | Ally boot screen randomly and quite often, and its just starting to bug me, but bugging me it is. I'll reinstall later to see if it resolves, but it feels more like a ROM problem than a bad flash. Any idea to the culprit?
Also - you offer the Baseband Update in your release post, however when looking at the about phone before ever installing it, it says it already has the new radio.img!
If it's a ROM problem, it must not be something that happens on every phone because I have been using this version of the ROM since Sunday without any stability issues what-so-ever. I know that we had a problem with kernel panics and random shutoffs on initial startup after flashing the ROM during one of the early beta versions, but I have flashed this current release version at least 10 times to test it and never once had the KP\shut off problem.
Very odd because the ROM seems so stable to me and I have really tried to push it during testing.

Ah yes but you do have this in Stock Punisher

Which does not mean your overclocked it just means your over clock ready.
But the Jit does speed you up, even without OC.
all you need is some SetCPU and youve just turned the corner into the Darkside Baby.

If not, boot into recovery, wipe both caches and reboot.
Yea I wipe dalvik, data and cache every time. I haven't seen a boot screen crash since after the 5th one last night - I think that was the kernel getting used to my particular CPU.
I installed Punisher, Boot, crash, boot, had to play to get data to work - was disabled on default like an app had disabled it by default. Had to connect to WI-FI, download SwitchPro, and enable data that way before I could get 3G. Then it crashed again (back to Android boot animation). Went back and forth a few times. Then installed Gingerbread for ZVC because theres a few graphical anomalies in the theme for Punisher, and I am a perfectionist and couldn't bare them, but you guys will probably never notice any of them - lol. Had one more crash and thats it so far.
I have NOT installed the baseband because the ROM reports that it already has it, and my signal is amazing here (4-5 bars), and usually my signal is 1-2 bars here. So I am a happy camper.
However the input lag is still unbearable on anything other than text messages - where it is fine.
I'm not over-clocked at this time, and I honestly don't see a need to with this ROM, the Jit is doing a pretty good job on its own.
I am an Engineering Electronics College Graduate, so I'm not new to any of this - and I was tickled when android came out - Computer, PSP, and now my Android can be hacked - like a homebrew dream if you ask me!
Afteraffekt, im sorry about the keyboard an boot issues. i haven't had this problem. Biggest problem i had was FC cuz of framework-res but i rebuilt that and its fine now. and KP on first boot but those are gone now. never noticed a keyboard lag. or any lag except on boot where everything is set to be optimized but even that takes less than 15-30 seconds. I know there are a few graphic issues. Those will be fixed in the next release. Flashlight app will also be included. But i'm taking a break for a few days. As for the radio, it was originally included in the rom. But i pulled it just in case someone needed to reflash and the radio should only be flashed once.

yea i had the same random ally boot screen.. i thought it was stuck for awhile.. so i just waited to see if it bypasses. after awhile it finally booted.. the question i have is my sw version is still v8.. take a look...

Hmmm so this got me thinking... If I modify the punisher zip and put the flash light.apk in that directory.... will That make the modified version load the flash light app automatically when flashed? Or is it alot more complicated than that?

Thats because you didnt take the OTA
It only reports correctly if you take the OTA.
Mine is reporting ZVC.
Really its nothing to worry about.

Make a Nandroid of punisher where you are at.
Then Go to my Thread: I need a Volunteer who wants to go back COMPLETELY STOCK
and make your phone stock.
Take the OTA updates. Then your phone will report ZVC
After all that then Wipe everything in AmonRa dalvik, cache Data factory reset, Wipe ext
Now reload the Nandroid from punisher and Voila
you have Punisher with a corectly reporting ZVC.
But honestly... it wont make a hill of beans difference. It just might make you feel better about life is all.**
