Ok so I rooted my phone and flashed the Nordic sbf via RSD Lite. Then, I installed 2nd-Init boot and installed CM7 on my phone successfully. I then made a grave mistake by flashing a zip file and then my phone won't start. I have then reflashed the Nordic and many other sbf files but it doesn't work! Now, my phone just shows the Motorola logo, the Android boot animation and gets stuck there. I think it's because the phone is still using 2nd-Init script to boot. Can someone help me! My phone's not working!

Try using the Volume down and power buttons to boot the phone see if you can get into recovery. Should show an exclamation mark on the bottom corner and you press on it to access recovery. I had a defy that wouldn't even go into recovery, but i never tried to root it. Had to have it replaced. You can get into boot loader if you plug it in with the USB into the computer and boot the phone on with volume down and power. BUt I don't know how to use the shell from windows to access the phone

Thanks for your reply Cjohn8792. I remember how depressed I was when this took place.

Before I read the reply message, I had booted into stock recovery (Volume button down + Power) and saw an exclamation mark over the Android logo. I pressed the Volume up + Volume down out of frustration and got the recovery menu. I then performed a factory reset that got me back

If anyone gets such a problem, flash a respective *.sbf file, repeat the steps in the above paragraph and reboot your phone. It's done!
