Default Erasing calendar entries

I cannot delete certain appointments from my calendar. Neither in the native "Calender" nor in "iRT Calendar". It seems to be those appointments which I transferred from my old Outlook calendar when I set up my Streak recently. Can anyone offer any advice, please?

Yes, thanks. I can and I have! However that change has not been reflected on my Streak.
I'm new to Android and to the concept of an online calendar. I can't say I'm enamoured by it, but I want to at least give it a try. I'm finding that none of the new entries I am adding to my calendar on the Streak are appearing in the online version. Could you tell me what setting on which machine it is I have to adjust to make that happen? Thank you.

I don't have a Streak, but on my Droid it's under Settings, Accounts and Sync. You should have your Google account in there, and make sure the auto-sync is checked.
