Startup monitor and periodic check?
This sounds odd, but I'm trying to find a start-up monitor that actually works! I've tried various apps and yet am finding that when I open my task manager after a while there are programs running which I have instructed the start-up monitor not to allow. There are several programs which, unlike most people I know, I almost never use such as "Music", "Mp3 store", "Voice control", Outlook tasks and notes, etc. Can anyone recommend a powerful start-up monitor, or better still a programme which will periodically automatically check the status of programs running and close any on a blacklist?
PS: I appreciate that some of the programs I've listed may not be programs at all, but links and shortcuts, however my basic question remains. Thanks.
