Default Android 2.2 portrait mode?

A question based on curiosity really, but will the 2.2 update on the streak enable it to run apps, and the like, in portrait mode as well as landscape mode?

Thanks

Ian

According to Dell's page regarding 2.2 it will support portrait on the home screen. Most apps should currently have portrait orientation even with 1.6.

Yup. Almost all apps are portrait and landscape. but when the homescreen is in portrait, it will be a lot nicer. And 2.2 will bring that.

check some of the vids on youtube -- dell streak 2.2.
They're European, but you still get an idea of what to expect. Looks pretty good!
