Default Back button not working when phone is sitting on desk.

Just got a Streak yesterday and noticed that if the phone is sitting on my desk or night stand the back button doesn't respond to being pressed. The other two seem to work fine. As soon as I pick it up it works again. Can someone else test this is see if all three buttons respond when your not holding it? Assuming it has to do with grounding but don't know if this is a common issue with the Streak...
